Painting a Skiff at Sunset with Chris Reed

In this workshop students will learn how to paint a skiff on site in watercolor. Preliminary sketches will help in advance for understanding composition and value. Students will be prepared for mixing colors in addition to the following techniques:

• Wet-on-wet
• Dry brushing
• Color lifting
• Glazing

The workshop will begin with a short meditation to minimize inhibitions associated with the creative process and to help with finding your own unique way of painting.
