March 20th Virtual Speaker Series:  Arista Holden Introduces Atlantic Challenge

Join Arista Holden, USCG Captain and Executive Director of Atlantic Challenge USA, for an inside look at this nonprofit’s work in personal development, youth empowerment, and team building through rowing and sailing traditional boats. Arista will share highlights from the 2024 Atlantic Challenge International Contest of Seamanship, held in Belfast, Maine, and provide details on this summer’s exciting programs in Penobscot Bay. Arista has taught sailing since her teens and has worked with organizations such as Outward Bound, NOLS, the Nova Scotia Sea School, and the Wooden Boat School. She also teaches Coastal Navigation courses at the Carpenter’s Boat Shop.
