Virtual Speaker Series: Paddling the Maine Island Trail with MITA’s Christina Hassett

Christina is excited to share her experience of paddling the Maine Island Trail in the kayak she built during her time as an apprentice at the Carpenter’s Boatshop in 2012.  As the Downeast Regional Stewardship manager for the Maine Island Trail Association, Christina now works to steward and maintain public access to the remarkable islands that make up the Trail; please join us to learn more about the Trail and how continued access to such places nourishes critical relationships of people and place.
